Crisis Services provides 24-hour evaluation and intervention for adults who are at risk of harming themselves or someone else. Specially-trained crisis counselors help callers define problems and feelings and explore possible solutions.
Children: 502.589.8070
Acute Child Psychiatric Services provides 24 hours a day assessment, intervention and referral for children, adolescents and families who are experiencing psychiatric emergencies.
Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) : An intensive, short-term inpatient program for children who do not need hospitalization, but require intervention beyond outpatient treatment.
Developmental Disabilities Services: 502.459.5292 (regular business hours) or 502.589.4313 (Crisis Line after hours)
Provides on-site prevention and response services to individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities who are experiencing a crisis. These services include assessments, support services, on-site crisis response and respite.

The Seven Counties Addiction Recovery Center provides assessments for those experiencing substance use issues and can connect those in crisis to community resources 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Emergency Psychiatry Services:
Located at 530 South Jackson, in University Hospital, Emergency Psychiatry Services (EPS) are available 24/7 for adults experiencing a mental health crisis. Just go to the hospital emergency room and specially trained social workers and University Hospital doctors will work with you and your family to stabilize the emergency and refer you or a family member to outpatient services once the crisis is diverted.

Appointments
Regular and first time appointments
To make your first appointment, please start by calling the Seven Counties Appointment Access Line at 502.589.1100
First visits usually last 1 – 2 hours. It is important for you to arrive 15- 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork. You will need to bring a list of medications you are taking, a list of mental health, developmental services or addiction services you may have received in the past, insurance or medical card, proof of income and emergency contact information. If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian, with proof of guardianship, will need to attend.
