Job Description:

  • Provides on-going religious and spiritual assessment, interventions and evaluation as part of the interdisciplinary treatment team.

  • Conducts individual, group and family pastoral care and counseling.

  • Provides and documents consultation to treatment teams on issues of religious concern and spiritual care for patients.

  • Provides pastoral care for employees as requested.

  • Plans and conducts hospital worship, holiday, special occasion, funeral and memorial services and liturgies.

  • Provides consultation on ethics and patient rights to patients, treatment teams and hospital management.

  • Liaison with community religious groups, agencies and institutions to coordinate religious care of patients, religious volunteer services , and special programming or service needs for patients.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate of an accredited theological or divinity school with a master's or doctorate degree in divinity, theology or related field.

  • Ordination and/or denominational or ecclesiastical endorsement.

  • At least two units of Clinical Pastoral Education, one of which is accomplished in a psychiatric setting.

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Part time
