Her responsibilities include developing nursing missions and structures, ensuring competent nursing care, overseeing staff orientation, implementing comprehensive nursing plans, and supervising quality improvement activities.

In an interview with Louisville Business First, Linda shared what she believes makes someone a Health Care Hero. “A Health Care Hero is someone who goes above and beyond to assist a patient or their family to access the services or resources they need and to understand how to manage their care to live their best life,” she said. “Whether you help one person or 100 people you are still a hero.”

Linda’s tireless efforts to improve healthcare access in our community make her a true Health Care Hero. This award recognizes her vital contributions to breaking down barriers and ensuring equitable access to healthcare, particularly within the mental health community. Her collaborative initiatives and practical solutions underscore her commitment to creating a more inclusive healthcare landscape.

Congratulations, Linda, on this well-deserved honor! Your leadership and dedication inspire us all.
