Amplifying Our Impact
Jarod’s leadership experience extends across diverse industries, ranging from nonprofit to healthcare. With 12 years of experience in the advertising, PR, and marketing industry, his unique skillset has allowed him to successfully lead these efforts at Seven Counties Services over the last two years. This includes the introduction of a new website paired with a revamped content strategy featuring expert-reviewed blogs, resource sheets, glossaries, and high-quality videos.
Enhancing Seven Counties Services’ digital presence has captured the attention of the community and fueled significant growth. The new website not only led to an immediate 30% increase in service referrals, but additionally, website users have increased by 684% since February 2021 and continue to trend positively.
Under Jarod’s compassionate and strategic leadership, the organization has expanded its reach and provided vital mental and behavioral health services, substance use treatment, and intellectual and developmental disabilities services to a larger audience. This is exemplified by the nearly 452,000 behavioral health services delivered to over 25,000 individuals, children, and families in 2023 alone.
Leading in Action
Shining through his professional achievements, Jarod’s passion for his community is indisputable. As an exceptional leader, he focuses on empowering others to blossom under his guidance without stifling their creativity. A direct example of this is being a co-lead of the Emerging Professionals Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Seven Counties Services. This group is dedicated to promoting the professional growth of emerging talent from a foundation of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Additionally, Jarod was recently recognized as a Kentucky Colonel, the highest honor awarded by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. As a
Kentucky Colonel, Jarod is an ambassador of goodwill and fellowship, representing our state with pride and distinction. His dedication and outstanding contributions to our community have truly made a lasting impact.
In an interview with Louisville Business First, Jarod said an aspect of his job he really loves is seeing change in action and hearing testimonies of those who have overcome some of life’s most difficult circumstances. “By connecting individuals with opportunities for treatment, I get to be a small part of their unique journey,” he said. “Our messaging as an organization, along with our community presence, acts as a beacon of hope for many individuals and families who may not have sought or found care otherwise.”
