When Every Moment Counts – Seven Counties Services Answers the Call
When you or someone you love is in a mental health crisis, nothing else matters. Time stands still in an urgent rush of emotions that center on getting immediate help.
Many struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, emotional distress, or thoughts of suicide, find that reaching out can feel scary. At Seven Counties Services, we want you to know one important thing: you are not alone.
Our Crisis Response Team is here for you 24/7, 365.
Reaching Out is a Sign of Strength
People contact crisis services for many different reasons. You do not have to be experiencing the “worst moment” of your life to ask for help. Reach out if you are:
- Feeling emotionally overwhelmed
- Experiencing anxiety or panic
- Struggling with depression
- Worried about a loved one
- Facing substance use challenges
- Feeling hopeless or alone
- Having thoughts of self-harm or suicide
- Simply needing someone to talk to
The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available to anyone who needs emotional support, and conversations are free and confidential.
What Happens When You Call or Text 988?
When you call or text 988, we will connect you with a trained crisis counselor who listens without judgment. We’ll talk to you about what you are experiencing, help you feel calm and supported, and explore your immediate safety needs. In addition, Seven Counties Services will connect you with local resources and services.
When people need more support beyond an initial phone call, Seven Counties Services also offers:
- Mobile Crisis Response Teams
- Mental health treatment
- Addiction recovery services
- Care coordination and referrals
Our mobile crisis teams can meet individuals in the community to provide in-person support and help stabilize difficult situations. Our goal is always to meet people where they are, emotionally and physically, with compassion and care.
One of the biggest misconceptions about crisis services is that you should only call when things become extremely serious. That is not true. Early support can make a meaningful difference. Reaching out before feelings intensify may help prevent a situation from becoming more overwhelming.
You Deserve Support
