Our Adult Mental Health Services are recovery focused finding solutions for the most difficult and complex challenges.

From Peer Support services to housing and employment supports, our team takes care of the whole person, allowing our clients to achieve their highest potential.

Programs

The Crisis Clinic is available Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm providing resources for people experiencing a mental health or substance abuse crisis. Services include a crisis assessment, linkage to resources and short-term follow up support.

Counseling Services includes assessments and individual, group and family counseling.

ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) is a program designed to help individuals with a Severe Mental Illness avoid inpatient hospitalization and who need more than traditional outpatient services. One accepted in the ACT program, these services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Female Support Worker Visits Senior Woman At HomeTargeted Case Management includes a case manager that links people with severe mental illness, addictions or chronic complex health issues with community resources and support.

Comprehensive Community Support Services include in-home and community based training in daily living and coping skills.

Criminal Justice and Jail Diversion Services intervene in the court system in Jefferson County on behalf of adults with behavior health needs to help ensure that these individuals receive appropriate treatment versus jail time.

Intensive ACE (Assertive Community Engagement) is a program designed to help individuals with a severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) at risk of inpatient hospitalization. Individualized supports and services needed for success are provided in the home or out in the community.

Mental Health and Dual Diagnosis Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) helps individuals who need co-occurring substance use and mental illness treatment.

Medication Management Services are available under the supervision of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners and nurses specializing in the psychiatric care of Adults.

Homeless Outreach Team is a joint effort with the Louisville Metro Coalition for the Homeless and The Department for Behavioral Health to engage people who have a mental illness and are homeless, helping them access services and needed assistance.

Peer Support Services are led by people who have a diagnosis of a serious mental illness and/or addiction issues and are in recovery. Peer Support Specialists help others manage their recovery, build self-advocacy skills and achieve their own successes.

PeerFit is a consumer-run health and wellness program that offers health assessments, fitness training, classes and more.

TAYRLD youth outside local officeTAYLRD is a drop in site for youth ages 16-25 that offers mental health counseling, primary care services, medication management, employment support, leadership development, life skills training, laundry access, food and more.

Recovery Zone is a therapeutic rehabilitation program for persons with severe mental illness. This program works to build the skills needed to live, learn and work in the community.
