Addiction Recovery Services
SEVEN COUNTIES SERVICES ADDICTION RECOVERY CENTER
Substance Use Disorders are a chronic illness that can destroy families, end careers and ultimately, ruin lives. But there is effective treatment available.
The Seven Counties Services Addiction Recovery Center is an 80-bed inpatient and outpatient facility for adults specializing in the effective treatment of substance use disorders.
Since its inception in 1975, as Louisville’s first specialty hospital dedicated to the treatment of alcoholism and other drug addictions, we have served more than 300,000 people with substance use disorders.
COR-12™ Treatment Model
The Addiction Recovery Center believes in Recovery Oriented Medication Assisted Treatment (RO-MAT) to address the Opioid and Heroin Epidemic.
Recovery Oriented-MAT treats Heroin and Opioid use disorders with addiction medicine, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, case management, peer support, and linkage to the full continuum of community based supports like employment and housing.
The Addiction Recovery Center’s inpatient programs are designed for men and women that may require a medical withdrawal management, medication assisted treatment or a structured residential inpatient treatment program.
Seven Counties Services Addiction Recovery Center offers an inpatient program for alcohol and drug treatment service.
Treatment includes medical evaluation, medical detoxification or withdrawal management, medication assisted treatment, counseling, introduction to 12 Step recovery, education about the disease of addiction, coping skills, behavior changes needed to achieve recovery, and referral to additional treatment/support services.
Treatment is an individualized process and length of stay will vary based upon needs.
Women’s Renaissance Center (WRC), located in Shelbyville, is designed to serve pregnant women suffering from substance use and co-occurring disorders. The WRC specializes in providing a structured therapeutic environment that encourages growth, healthy coping skills, parenting education and a safe environment that establishes recovery and allows for the delivery of a baby free from illicit substances.
The Seven Counties Services Intensive Outpatient Programs focus on recovery education, counseling, relapse prevention, how to use the 12-Step groups and continuing planning to support the process of recovery.
We provide assessment, counseling, medication assisted treatment (in some locations), education, family services, aftercare and peer support. Program length varies among clients.
Outpatient programs are designed for people who are experiencing problems with substance use and do not need the structure of a inpatient treatment episode.
An individual can obtain treatment while continuing to live at home and maintain employment
