Raylette Carr Recognized with Recover Boldly Award
We’re thrilled to share an outstanding achievement from the Second Annual Micheal T. White Recover Boldly Awards Luncheon, presented by Seeds of a New Leaf! Congratulations to our very own Raylette Carr, an Executive Business Professional on the Addictions Services team, for winning the Recover Boldly Award!
About Raylette
Raylette was recognized for her willingness to ‘recover out loud.’ By openly sharing, she has created an environment where others feel safe to discuss their battles without fear or shame. She consistently attends recovery meetings, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her personal growth and the well-being of her recovery community.
Her active participation in these meetings, along with her willingness to sponsor other women, exemplifies her deep sense of compassion and service to others. Raylette has not only embraced her recovery but has extended her hand to guide and support others through the process. She offers a lifeline to those who may feel lost and hopeless.
“I greatly appreciate this award,” said Raylette in response to being presented with the Recovery Boldly Award. “I’ve worked so hard for the last five years to maintain my sobriety. It’s wonderful to be appreciated and recognized.”
About Seeds of a New Leaf
Seeds of New Leaf is a nonprofit organization that strives to provide on-demand support and direct connection to all avenues of treatment and recovery for substance use disorder and co-occurring mental illness, with a primary focus on underserved populations and communities. The organization was founded by Michael T. White’s daughters who grew up by his side in the world of recovery. When Mike passed away in 2016, he was 20 years sober and continuing to impact the lives of others in the community, one recovery story at a time. Seeing firsthand how one man’s recovery can change the lives of everyone around them, Seeds of New Leaf is a continuation of his work.
